Are you missing a pair of brand new hot sneakers? Then on this list, you'll find our picks for the latest and coolest new sneakers in 2023.
I'll cover some of the ones our customers are snapping up from the shelves, as well as some models I predict will be great investments if you're a collector.
Let’s go.
Here are the 7 coolest sneakers in 2023, in completely random order.
Air Jordan 4 Retro Seafoam
As the name suggests, we’re dealing with a pair of classic sneakers here.
This release has been incredibly hyped, and for good reason. You can never go wrong with a pair of classic and retro Jordans… Ever.
These sneakers hold a special place for me on this list because of the extremely tasteful seafoam green, which perfectly matches the white leather and black details.
Anyone who has ever tried a pair of Air Jordan 4 knows the shoes are incredibly comfortable, whether you’re on the basketball court or dominating your friends’ sneaker game (let’s be honest, you’re going to win with these).
It doesn’t get much better, and we’re just getting started.
Fun fact - Did you know the first Air Jordan 4 was released in 1989, just two years after the first Air Max 1? In both cases, Tinker Hatfield was the man behind the design.
Samba OG Cloud White Core Black
Let’s quickly move on to a pair of must-have Adidas sneakers.
This Samba model is already a clear bestseller at Sneakerzone in 2023, and we totally get why.
The shoe is sleek with well-thought-out and super classy details. Just check out the white laces with the beige suede. It’s seriously irresistible.
These Sambas are the hottest women’s sneakers of the season (but hey, all our shoes are unisex).
I’ve even considered getting a pair myself because they’re so nice.
The brown rubber sole gives a retro look, which you find on many of Adidas’ classic sneakers.
We totally understand why this shoe is a bestseller. It’s so popular right now that we barely get to hold the model before it’s out of our stock again and on its way to our dear customers.
Got a party coming up?
Make sure you’re ready to dance with a pair of Sambas — probably the most comfortable dance shoes we know.
Fun fact - The Adidas Samba model dates all the way back to 1949 and is Adidas’ second best-selling shoe, just behind Stan Smith. Over 35 million pairs of Sambas have been sold worldwide. That’s like every Dane having about 6 pairs of Sambas in their wardrobe.
Air Jordan 1 Low SE Concord
For some totally unknown reason, this Air Jordan 1 model has been almost completely overlooked by all our amazing customers.
It seriously makes no sense when it’s such a cool model — and that’s why I’m highlighting this special edition Jordan — to give these sneakers the justice they deserve.
If you want a pair of new sneakers that will turn heads your way, these are a great pick.
The ultra-popular icy sole is back on a sneaker that’s so popular and sleek in the black and white colors, with a glossy finish. I almost have no words for how insane this one is.
It’s only a matter of time before you can’t get these Jordans anymore — people just need to open their eyes to them.
On top of that, you get all the qualities that make Jordans an extremely popular shoe.
Comfortable and classic sneakers, timeless design, and a shoe you can wear all week long.
One of my personal favorites we have in stock right now.
Fun Fact - The Jordan 1 Low was first released in 1985 as the first low-top shoe made for Michael Jordan. The shoe is largely based on a Nike Dunk, which was given the Jordan wings.
Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko
What’s a sneaker shop’s hit list without a pair of Dunks?
Those who haven’t realized that Dunks are here to stay might as well learn now. Dunks were undisputedly the shoe of the year at Sneakerzone in 2022, and the popularity continues in 2023.
These Industrial Blue Sashiko sneakers are a really exciting case in my eyes.
The crazy thing is, people haven’t caught on to this model yet — which makes me think two things.
1. When you buy it, you can stand out. Not many others in your circle own this model. Guaranteed.
2. This shoe will be a really good investment if you’re a collector. As soon as people notice them, the price will rise. If you have a pair in mint condition by then, you have the chance to make good money.
So whether you’re a collector or just want a clean and fresh pair of Dunks for summer, here you have a unique shoe that fits any occasion.
Fun fact - Nike Dunks were first released for basketball players in 1985. Since then, the model has been a bestseller under Nike SB as a skateboarding shoe.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High 85 Black White
Honestly, you probably don’t need to say much about this model, but I’m going to anyway.
You can get as many colorful sneakers and unique models as you want, but timeless classics — like this Jordan Retro High 85 — are timeless classics for a reason.
This is the shoe waiting for you when you’ve been on wild sneaker adventures, when you’ve wrecked your new sneaks, and when you need home comfort.
In other words; this one never lets you down.
Jordans like these never stop being cool, and if you’re even a little interested in sneakers, you owe yourself a pair of these.
Not to fit in, but because you almost can’t get better.
For me, with Jordans like these, I feel like I have a pair of real sneakers.
This one never dies.
Simple.
Fun Fact - The first Air Jordan 1 High was released in 1985 and was retroed for the first time in 1994, just 9 years after it first came out. Since then, there have been hundreds of throwbacks.
Air Jordan 1 Mid Gym Red Panda
If you have a sharp sneaker eye, you know exactly why this model is on the list.
It has all the right elements that make a pair of Jordans truly special. Black and red colorway with cream-colored sole,
Amen, seriously.
Throwbacks to Michael Jordan’s glory days with the Chicago Bulls tend to make a pair of Jordans insanely sought after and valuable in the long run.
But if you’re just looking to wear them, we totally get it, because this retro look, with the cream-colored soles, leather materials, and red Jordan graphics makes the shoe a true Jordan banger.
Don’t sleep — you might miss out.
Fun Fact - Some of the first Jordan shoes that hit the NBA were banned because they had red and black colors. They didn’t meet the dress code on the court back in 1985.
Samba Leather Cloud White Lucid Blue
Thought I was done with Samba?
Think again, my friend.
I’m pretty sure the Samba will be one of the big hits in 2023. This model is brand new to us and has already started flying off the shelves — it’s crazy.
But honestly, I get it.
It’s a fantastic alternative to the more standard Samba you saw earlier on the list.
Still with light leather and brown rubber soles, but this time with stripes that stand out more in a lively blue color.
I really like the simplicity of these sneakers, and it seems everyone else does too.
If you want to get this one in your size, you better act fast. It’s moving quickly out of our stock.
Fun Fact - The Samba model was originally made so football players could train on hard surfaces. That’s why the sole has a pattern designed to help you stand firm without slipping on slick surfaces.
Key Points
If your sneakers need some new playmates, this list might have a good pick.
From our perspective, Air Jordan has a permanent spot on the winner’s podium. They simply never fail, and the hype is high on new releases.
You might already have a pair of Sambas among your sneakers, but if you don’t, now’s the time to get a pair from this list. A huge shooting star already in 2023.
Dunks are cool — that’s just how it is. So of course, there was room for a pair on this list. I predict the popularity Dunks had in 2022 will continue this year. We still love them here at Sneakerzone, and our customers definitely do too.
