So sure that he called and convinced his mother. Then she got her famous son to meet Nike’s reps – and the success was born…
  • A pair of Nike Jordan 1 X Union sneakers is better than money in the bank. The original sneakers are a must-have for all sneaker lovers. Popularity has only grown since the basketball star first wore the shoes in 1984.
  • A pair of sneakers sold for a fortune at Christie’s auction house. In 2020, Christie’s auctioned nine pairs of the basketball star’s running shoes. The buyer of the superstar’s Nike Air Jordan 1 High sneakers won the bid at $615,000. The Chicago Bulls star had worn the iconic sneakers in a game in 1985.
  • The star behind the brand refused to wear red and black shoes. The basketball player first got a pair of white and light blue shoes. But when he was later presented with the red and black colorway, he wasn’t thrilled.
